Smart Tarts

 Our savory vegetarian and non-vegetarian Smart Tarts are made with cholesterol-free egg substitute and soy milk.  We also have vegan Smart Tarts.  All Smart Tarts are lower-fat alternatives to the traditional quiche.

SmartTarts are great any time of day.  Delicious for breakfast or snack all on its own, or pair it with a soup or salad and you have a satisfying lunch or dinner!

Vegetarian Smart Tarts

Tart Buon Giorno:  Inspired by the flavors of Italy, a red-and-golden-quinoa-and-flaxseed crust is filled with zucchini, shallots, olives, roasted red pepper, fresh basil, mozzarella and Asiago cheeses.

Farm Tart: A hearty brown-rice-and-flaxseed crust filled with cauliflower or broccoli, NY State cheddar and smoked cheddar cheeses, and a sprinkling of red pepper flakes.

 

Vegan Smart Tarts

Tart Marrakesh:  Exotic Morrocco inspired this delicious vegan tart made with red lentils, roasted red peppers, preserved lemons in a fennel scented brown rice crust.

Non-Vegetarian Smart Tarts

 Tart Olé: The flavors of Spain come together in this potato-and-flaxseed crust filled with caramelized onions, Spanish chorizo, and Manchego cheese.

Tart Niçoise: Sunny Nice inspired this eggplant and white bean based vegan tart, seasoned with herbes de Provence nestled in a grated potato and flaxseed crust. 

Rain Forest Tart: Brazil nuts and mushrooms are the main ingredients in this vegan tart flavored with cilantro, orange zest, and lemongrass and baked in a quinoa crust.
